Greg, If your wheel bearing is shot, it will hum on the highway. When you turn opposite to the busted bushing, sount will go away. BTW, if you get it done, and are happy with the results, keep the shops name handy. My first one went out at 45K miles, the second at 47...
Todras is right, don't wait. I snoozed on the first one, and everything was seized together from the heat...
