Hey guys - thanks for the pointers. I'm no motor head but I do take the car in every 3,000 miles to have the oil changed and I have had the trans fluid changed twice now. I go by the book when it comes to preventive maintenance. This is my work car and I never drive it hard. By the way, when I got the recall for the wiring harness, the Lincoln Mercury Dealership said there was nothing wrong with mine and did not replace it. The Ford Dealership I now use has replaced it and it hasn't stalled since. I had to drive a Focus while mine was out sick... what a peice a crap these cars are. My '96 Mystique was like getting into a Continental after driving that thing! I need to get atleast a couple more years out of this car... I am looking at a new Millinea, the Lincoln LS, or the new X-Type... it depends on my cash flow when I go to buy. Tell me more about the EGR passage cleaning... and what I need to do to revive some lost pep it used to have.

Thanks again...
