i'm pulling my a/c system out of my car and it's a daily driver, and i live in the deep south. i just don't have $700 to get a new compressor put in (around $200 if i do it myself), so i'm making the best of my situation.

Q about the wheels though. As they are part of the unsprung weight of the car, lighter ones won't affect weight distribution though, correct ?

correct, it is however less weight and rotating mass your engine and transaxle have to account for

the washer reservoir should/would be easy to swap out with a small one or just eliminate... if you wanted to go to a smaller one, iirc the pump is NOT in the reservoir. APC or a similar company sells polished stainless reserve tanks that are like 12-16oz... one of those would be easy to hook up, i'm thinkin about doin it now that i brought it up

also there was/is a gb goin on for ps / alt pullies in the gb forum check it out.
