Yeah...well, I'm the silly 16 yr old who would put my ATX in first gear and just plant it and see how many revs I can put on the tach. I'm stupid like that.
Well, nothing's wrong with my Contour (yet) but I've been to 7200 before the rev limiter decided to wake up (redline is 6725 as far as I know). Here's a rather silly question though: I dunno if it's my particular car, or if it applies to all ATX Contours, but mine won't go past 4500 in neutral when the car is still, but when I'm rolling, it will freespool right to redline. What's up with that? Are my electronics screwed?
