4500rpm is redline in neutral/park the car can shifter better than you can (it's electronics are gonna counter-act any good you could be doing), so just leave it in D. if at track, maybe turn o/d off,,, but manually shifting an atx is useless.... and get a superchip,,, and my speed limiter was 112 mph, why's everyone always saying stuff like 106 and 107 for the limiter?

Analog Speedometers are notoriously inconsistent and not always accurate at high speeds. For you it reads 112, for someone else it reads 106. I believe the factory rates the limit at 110mph, so it isn't that you have a faster car than the guy who's governor kicks in at 106. His speedometer error was 4mph under while yours was 2mph over. Neither number is all that bad when you consider how many variables there are that affect your actual speed. Consider whether the tires on your car are over/under inflated, how worn down they are, etc. You can't expect the numbers to be equal from car to car and year to year. My old 95 SE with firestone firehawk tires showed about 116 before the governor kicked in.

The only way to get your ATX to do ANYTHING close to performing a "manual function" would be to have a manual valve body, shift kit, or something of that sort placed into your trans to replace the stock valve body....and I don't think they make that for 'tours.
I had a B&M shift kit in my 5.0L Mustang "back in the day" and it was neat....manual control without a clutch, but the shifts were HARSH, especially at part throttle!!!!

probably turn o/d off, but run it both ways and see which is faster, you just never know. though o/d off should allow better use of power band (though get a tranny cooler if u plan on doing it often, heck get one anyways).

Having a Superchip may change shift points, but I believe he's asking for some way of manually shifting an automatic.....not the same thing.....
