It is not too late to order a hood. If you order one now it is better because than you wouldn't have to wait as long as most of us that have been waiting about 9 months now. The hood is supposed to be finished this week with the first one being ready to ship next week. Wouldn't that be a great Christmas/Hannukah gift to yourselves. I read through the post, is the fiber-glass version that can be painted still available for $225+shipping? Or is there a CF version that can be painted? Just looking for the right hood to get as I need my to be able to be painted, and ready for paint preferably

Not sure about the fiberglass one, but the CF one can be painted it'll just cost a lot more to get painted because of the prep work required.

Then you need to let Rob know. I don't think he'll be selling them after the GB.

Woot! I'm in. I'm hood #11, fiberglass so I can get it painted. Fiberglass ran me $275 +shipping.
As an update if you all don't know, the mold should be done in the next week or so, and he'll ship the first CF hoods in about 2-3 weeks. I won't get mine till end of january though :/ Oh well.

You can also get colored c/f. It is available in red, blue, yellow and silver. Cost is $100 more. We should find out tomorrow if the hood is done yet or when the whole thing will be done. Thanks again
