Guess what guys... I finally got a hold of Rob! Here is the scoop:
The person who was originally donating a hood kinda disapeared and someone was going to pick up the slack with there hood.
Well there hood was somewhat dented and they didn't want to take that in because it would make a sh!tty mold.
GOOD NEWS TOO!
Rob said that he has enough deposits to go and buy a new hood for the mold if it's not too expensive or he is going to see if the dealership will let him borrow one. Either way it will probably start in 2 weeks or so
He was thinking that it would take a total of 6 weeks to send the first hood out.

I have been trying to call Rob since Mon. I have left messages with him. Any way I have been having problems getting a hood to borrow once I send mine into Rob. I have also been trying to call him just to let him know waht is going on. My car was supposed to be the donor hood. Even it was straight and didn't have the dent in it I would still be having the problems I have been having. I can't seem to get my car to stay out of the shop for more than 2 days. I am trying to get this thing to work. Sorry

The newest news is that I talked to Rob. We had discussed going out and just purchasing a new hood to get the mold started. Problem is the cost on it was $550 wholesale. I was supposed to be getting a hood from a friends shop to borrow. Again ran into a problem. The owner of the car decided after being gone for 4 months on vacation they wanted there car back. Anyway bottom line is that there is a hood going to go to the manufacture to start this within 1 week. Sorry guys this is taking so long. It has been one problem after another. We will have these by kits being done and started going out to the buyers by the middle of next month. Again thanks for all the support.

Ok - I guess I have figured that I will be waiting awhile for this hood. I know you guys are getting things straightened out so we can get this going soon. Any updates of when the hood is being purchased or who is taking one there - JOE
