Not everyone likes purple... personally I don't like it either but it is all that would go with the dark purple/eggplant color of the car - yes, the mondeo mirrors bolt straight up, it was the easiest mod I have done to date. Thanks for checkin out the tour!<p> AND about the ricey comment... I too am not quite a rice man, we are getting things that show class and style and I don't think most of us are going for the "my car is louder, so it's faster" theme.... I have seen just about everyone's tour on this site and see very little rice. Everyone is doing a great f*ckin job on there tours - group buys are helping us all to preserve the longevity and value of our cars.... JOE

i dont recall saying your car is rice, or that this WAS rice i asked if anyone THOUGHT this was rice, its just that when you go into the pics forum everything is rice rice rice, and a cf hood happened to be something i heard them call rice, i'm still in the gb for sure, just might go for the fiberglass one instead

I know you didn't say my car was rice - and I replyed about the hoods and group buys as showing class... I'm not nockin on anyones tour at all - by the way your tour is "clean"! JOE p.s. I would suggest the carbon fiber black hood for you... just because that would look the best and you wouldn't need to tell everyone that you got a fiberglass hood or here them ask about it... This way they can just look at the carbon fiber one and go "damn" after you tell them that there are like only 10 ever made!

I am taking my car to a shop either later today or tomorrow. They are going to try to see what they can do about the dent and also fix my clutch. Once out of there which should be by Fri. I am going to take it to Rob. So what I am saying is we should be starting making these hoods within the next 2 weeks at the latest. Thanks to everyone...........I also think the only reason a lot of us are saying it is too ricey is because all the rice got them before we even had a chance. I think it will bring a lot of class to the car and will increase eta's for those racing with something lighter.

The hood co. said after they get a mint hood sample, give them 3 weeks to make the hood mold - then 2 a week will be made after that.
