Yeah you are right...it does make a big difference when you manually shift an atx but its still not the same...anyways, do you have any pics of your CAI i am in the process of making my own and was just trying to get an idea of your design compared to mine...Oh yeah...Zetec powa

You'll have to explain to me how you (even power shifting) took 2nd gear to 70mph, when the svt cant even do that. I dont see any tranny modes on your list. I have a superchip and it moved my rev limiter up to 7000 and i can still only do 60mph in 2nd gear, so where does your redline cut out? I know the gearing is different for the ATX but is it that big a diff? Is this something only the zetec can do.That would greatly improve 0-60 times.

Actually...it is possible to shift out of first at 44 and out of second at 74 with a zetec .I know trust me when i first got my car i was just learning how to dhift an atx manually and sometimes forget to shift out when racing(at the track...duh)Thank god for the rev limiter!!!.I don't know about duratec engine capabilities but i do know that zetecs rev high anyways. When 2nd gear shifts out at 65 the engine is reving so high it sounds like its gonna explode. Its ok though Its a tough little engine...it likes the abuse

yeah i can attest to the still being in 2nd and hitting 70. i have a superchip though, so i dont know if its possible without. i guess so. 4 bangers like the high revs do they not?

I have zoomed from 0 to 60 in second gear by redlining and depressing the clutch right as the rev limiter is starting to kick in. This makes a sort of clunking sound if you beat the limiter. Improves 0 to 60 quite bit though.

i hit pretty close to 135-140 km/h in second gear on my car... mtx vs atx = HUGE difference in shift points and speed. i may be able to hit 140 km/h in first tho an svt would walk me and not hit that speed until 3rd or 4th - he just gets there alot faster.

Stock Z24 MTX runs around 15.7-15.8
Stock ATX runs around 16 flat.

Even modified a Zetec MTX runs around mid 16's or slower. (sans nitrous of course)

ATX Zetec...

Stop the stupid stories and street racing is stupid in itself. Get a clue and a life...
