OK OK... I get the message.....
Here's a short parts list:
3 - 1100mcd 3.6V 20mA #276-320
3 - 1/4watt 470ohm resistors #271-1317
3 - snap in panel mount led holders to fit 5mm dia led's
#276-079
Install is fairly simple. Hardest part is probably fishing the wire above the headliner. Remove the rear grab bars and 2 snap in plugs in the back of the headliner. You will also have to partly unsecure the rear trim that the seatbelts retract into for the headliner to drop down enough to work. These are just snapped on so gently pull on them to remove. Also pop out the dome light.
Then using a metal coat hanger or some bailing wire, fish it from the front through the opening where the dome light goes, to the back. I then attached some 18gauge copper twisted wire to the coat hanger and pulled that through.
Then I took all my leds and resistors and soldered a resistor to each one long w/ a foot or so of wire off each lead. Once all three were soldered up I took each one individually and wired one at a time to the wire that was fished earlier. Now the fun part. wiring them up to the dome light. The positive wire goes to the orange wire on the domelight. If you only want them to work w/ the 12 sec delay then it can be grounded to the black wire w/ the blue stripe. This will make them work w/ the door but not manually turning the switch on. To make them light w/ the doors open and the 12 sec delay along w/ manually turning them on, the ground needs to go to the contact that is just to the right of the black wire w/ the blue strip. (between both harnesses, looking at the dome light back side exactly as it is positioned in the roof. Once that was worked out. I just sat in the back seat and held each led where I though it needed to shine down on the seat and punched a hole w/ an awl just large enough for the little snap in led holder to fit in. Then pushed the led through the back side and secured the wiring so it didn't rattle around. Did this for each one, made sure it all worked on completion and there you have it. Light in the back seat w/o an extremely obvious light source.
