I have noticed this with every ford, but my car is really getting bad now. When ever i hit the button for a window my lights dim, the affect is light to dark, its a pretty big difference, and if i hit two switches at the same time, the left one is a tiny big faster, but they are both cut down in speed. (now imagine all 4 windows, with lights and amp on with the subs hitting, I timed it, 56 seconds to roll downt he windows, ohh yes my heater was on two, which also slowed way down, and started letting off a burning smell. Is there any good way to make it so that my car has more power, and the windows won't lose power and go down faster?

Have you tried replenishing the dilithium crystals ?

are you running a capacitor with your amp....sounds like to me you are putting one hell of a load on your battery and charging system....1 farad cap should do the trick unless you got enough bump for a 6 NY city blocks......

well, see the problem is, everything still dims like that even when the HU is off. I only have 200w going to each sub. and it barely pulls anything. I have a xtant amp that amplifies it to 300w each sub.

have you tried a different battery or had yours load tested..you batt could be trying to die on you..

take it to a local parts store (advance auto or autozone). have them come outside with the wheel tester (this one puts a load on the battery while it is running) and it also tests the altenator at the same time...its free..
