it should pop off. most mirrors do that. about the cracked glass, take it to the junkyard and theyll put a substitute right over the old cracked one for pennies. well, pennies compared to the ~100 youd have to pay for ur heated power mirror (at least thats the quote that i got for the driverside mirror in my tour).
