i [censored] up. :/.
i just installed silverstars 9005's and theyre much brighter than stock bulbs. but being the perfectionist that i am, i noticed that their aim was a bit off. so i got a wrench and tried to determine which way to twist to aim down and which way to twist to aim up (and left/right also). well, anyway... they seem to be 'stuck' at their extremities. (one aims way too low- and the other way too high. dont laugh). any way to get behind the headlight and take a look at what happened to the screws - they spins but w/ no effect. basically i think im asking how to take out headlight assembly on a pre98. 95 lx to be exact. the side blinker comes out easily, but i didnt see any screws for the headlights... any suggestions?

Alright.. nobody [censored] up!
My 95LX had screws (three, maybe?) on the top extremes of the headlight. One on the outer corners, and two more towards the inner area...
Let me look it up, really quick, and I will get back to you.
(My neightbor has a 95LX, as well, and I don't have mine anymore.. I will go look at his..)

There are three clips on the backside. If you havent removed them before it will fight you. Apply slight pressure to the lamp (from the outside) where you are removing the clip from. With a long screwdriver, pop the clip off. Pliers would work for the passenger side but the battery is in the way for the drivers side. After all three clips are removed and the wires are disconnected the lamp will pop out.
OR
Remove the grille, bumper cover, and remove the little bolts behind the corner lamps. There are two (IIRC) between the lamps and the grille. I think I am missing some, but they are easy to see. Anyway, after those are off, the header panel will come off with the lamps. The first was is A LOT faster and easier.
Oh, this might help so you can get an idea what your trying to remove.

Hope this helped.

very detailed and definitely helpful. i even see the aiming screws in the picture as well. im not sure as to how the aiming mechanism works but ill get a friend to apply pressure to the lamp while i turn the screws. maybe that will help them jump into place. thanks again thomas 95 lx v6

You can almost see the threads on the bolt that comes from the light into the little black plastic thing. The screw that you are adjusting turns against the other screw moving it forward or backward.
