Actually, if you pull the stock gas tank and made a saddle-style tank, you should be able to fit it. Cardoc was looking at the AWD of the jaguar S-type and they have a simple PTO on it as well. Then it has a driveline with carrier bearing to the rear diff. The jaguar has a much more comprehensive rear end with stronger parts than the escape has. I would prefer to get the cheaper more common escape parts since it may be more compatible with our suspension setup than the jag.
Do you know what the torque split on the escape is? The jag has a 60/40 rear/front split and the rear suspension is much beefier than the escape. The escape is probably the opposite with a 60/40 front/rear or something like that.
Since I am installing my turbo right now, I am looking into the possibility of the AWD setup to get the power to the ground. $$$$$$
