Man, that is a beautiful course. I would love to drive it with any car. I agree that it looks like the Elise needs another gear. He's topped out on that straight away.

well there is a little company called turbo technics that makes a supercharger for the exige- LOL so if he were to wring what he brung he would have whooped the vette!

Lotus will put a Type R motor in the Elise for you if you have the extra dough. Horse stated that wasn't an Elise though. And yes power to weight ratio owns. Lotus kept up very well.

there is a kit car elise that uses the Zetec.
but you might be thinking of the Caterham 7.

i just watched the whole thing. WOW! that was nice. the vette was flying on the straights, but you could see the ass end skip out a little in the tight corners. at around 5:30 there was a pretty obvious one.
the driving was awesome. i wonder what the top speed of the Lotus was...

actually its not lotus that does the B18C5 Conversion- its a company called Sun International.

yeah...I heard of the lotus having a 1.8 liter zetec....I wasn't really sure. It was still pretty cool to see a lotus and a vette go at it. Cool vid
