its a 99 it has 23,000 miles on it and has a v-6 engine i just dont know what to add

Im confused. Are you a troll? From the number of posts that you have, it would seem not. Did you think this was a BMW forum? Or do you refer to a contour that you have as your BMW because it is so close to being like a BMW?

First off. BMW's dont have V6's. They either come with an inline 4, 6, or V8. Second there arent any BMW's that go 160 in stock form. Even the M5 is governed at 155. Maybe the Z8 isnt governed. So just because your speedo says 160 on it doesnt mean it goes that fast. Do you have the governor removed?

Doubling the horsepower and torque of a '95 Contour SE (340HP) would give it a theoretical top speed of 154MPH (up from 130MPH).
Cartest is a neat piece of software.
