Hello,

I am in need of new tires for my 1998 Mystique LS. It sits on the driveway quite a bit, therefore I am not interested in a super high-performance tire.

Tire Rack has the Sumitomo Srixon4 for $48 (US) per tire. Sears has the same tire this week for $66 (US). Looks like Tire Rack is a great buy. I read Tire Rack's reviews and they are mixed based on a wide variety of vehicle types and driving habits.

What are your experiences with this tire? I have the original set of Goodyears on the rear (71K miles...not much tread left) and Bridgestones on the the front, which didn't last 20K miles.

BTW, I live in Northwestern NJ. Four season driving...but I try not to take the Mystique out in snow.

Thanks,
Andy

I don't have much experience with at tire, but I have a set of Sumitomo HTR 200's that I like.

Remember that with Tirerack, you have to pay for shipping and then installation. If Sears price is mounted and balanced, you are probably better off going that route.

I just got a set if these on my contour and sofar I amd rather happy with them... I replaced the stock firestones and these seem to have much better traction on snow and wet and dry pavement.
