Tail Fins is the place we were at last year. It is nothing fancy, and depends on what you eat. The hot dogs, BBQ and chicken are good. The malts are great. Good prices.
Now the bad news, I will need to back out as leader of a cruise for right now. My wife's dad is 85 years old, and we will be moving him to an apartment that weekend. Just found out Saturday. And, the way the next few months look, we will be busy for the next several months cleaning his house and getting it ready to sell.
So, we would hate to commit to something, and then need to cancel. If any meets get organized in MN, let us know, and maybe we can join in on the fun, it things change.
The is a car show at Tail Fins in Alden, MN on July 19, which is open to all and any cars. Do not need to be only show quality. It is more of a fun get together, with a chance to win a trophy, with no entry fee. Trophies for top 25 and best GM, Ford, and Mopar, as well as work-in-progress, and others.
That night, the Basso Presto Club is going to Humbolt Co, Dragways in Humbolt, IA. So join the fun there if you like drag racing.
