Amy chance you had just used some tire dressing or anything like that on the sidewalls?

Only time i have ever looped it in traffic (not this car but my first sports car an 82 supra) was just after i had armoralled the tires, it was kinda the same thing, a turn i had been taking everyday at the same speeds etc. Since then (10 or 12 years ago) i have come across a few people here and there that have had the same experience. I have never used tire dressing of any kind since then. I'd rather have dirty sidewalls than a crunched rear quarter!

Anyway, you can always use that as an excuse if need be, " hmmm the rear tire must have rolled over onto that slippery sidewall.... I'll have to adjust the pressure then" wink
