I'm going to be running a filter relocation kit with an electric gauge. I simply plumbed in, using a tee, my gauge sending unit on the output side of the filter where it returns to the block. I figured I wanted the closest measurement after any drop that MAY occur across the filter and what-not.
If I decide to run a gauge for oil temp, I'll just add another tee in-line somewhere and use that for the sending unit.
