Meyer's Ace Hardware? No worries, I think my HD will have it. Last time I went in there for compression fittings I was plumbing in a sink or two, but anyway htey had like a giant WALL of compression fittings. If they dont have a 1/4" in stock then its got to be the demons or something.

Well shoot, I could avoid all that trouble if I just relocate my oil fitler and use that kit you bought No moving the AC compressor then and the temp guage can be tapped in right next to it on that adapter woot
I can't help it. If theres a way to spend more money on this car I'll come up with a way!

Yes you can.:) I had already plumbed mine before going with the relocation kit so I just left it.

For archiving correct info:
The fittings go to 1/4" to 1/8" tubing. The 1/4" metal tubing I picked up from Home Depot is too large. The plastic tubing that comes with the mechanical oil pressure guage is only 1/8".

I'm going to be running a filter relocation kit with an electric gauge. I simply plumbed in, using a tee, my gauge sending unit on the output side of the filter where it returns to the block. I figured I wanted the closest measurement after any drop that MAY occur across the filter and what-not.
If I decide to run a gauge for oil temp, I'll just add another tee in-line somewhere and use that for the sending unit.
I'll put holes in him!!

My guess is he doesn't want to run a pressure feed line into the cabin.

Why? It's no big deal.
