Originally posted by lsneo: yea well i did contact them, in fact i emailed them 3 times asking for the price because i want to know what the price is for the demon turbo and i also want to know what the price for performance fords is. But if they decide the people who like to shop around are a waste of their time then i guess i know where i am gettin my turbo from, that is a stupid comment to make especially when they loose a future customer when the sale will be about 3 grand. So i guess ill just have to wait for performance fords.
With what you just said, you better be buying a damn turbo kit. There's what, at LEAST 4 different kits out, any reason why you're waiting for performance Fords?
I don't think made that statement based on (1) incident. I bet it was a recurring theme, something that doesn't surprise me...

Thanks for the good news. Keep us posted. BTW, if you can get some "certified" install shops closer than CA, it would be nice.

How about one in a state that is in direct contact with yours?

No biggie. I drive to Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota all the time. If I could find someplace within 400 miles, it would be nice.
Performance Fords is about 640 miles away. That is quite a haul, but an option. CA, on the other hand, isn't an option. 2000 miles is waayyy too far.

I was joking around, Terry Haines is in Michigan. I didn't even know you could get the Demon kit installed anywhere else in the US.

I would gues they mean anyone who has ever emailed them before... I talked to terry about getting an intake manifold they make for the Zetec and he said that they could answer any questions I had on it so I emailed them and asked them if they sold that seperatly or just with their turbo kit casue terry had one just for NA and I wanted one that would work for both cause I at some point I might go with a turbo and didn't want to have to get another intake manifold. and I never got a responce back from them.
2003 Subaru WRX some mods
Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.
