Has anyone installed these things on their car? I just want to know if these are the ones with the blue/purple tinge to them (I realize the name has "blue" in it). Otherwise, anyone know of a good bright-pure white bulb replacement that fits the 'tour?

Thanks,

I'm using them in my car - no blue at all. They're just a bit whiter than a stock bulb, nothing extraordinary though.

You don't want blue tinted headlights. They're so dim you can't even see them.

Silverstarts all the way...

But if you for some reason want a blue color light try a set of bulbs from Hyper. They are available from www.autotoys.com last time I checked.

I agree with ScottK, the Cool Blue doesn't mean they are bright blue... they are just brilliant white...if you can get it at Wal-Mart then they most likely aren't the blue ones you are desiring...you can buy the Kuzo name brand which is DEFINATELY blue for about $30-$35 a pair..they come in 55Watt or 80-100Watt applications..check the current wattage of your lights to match them correctly. You can install higher wattage bulbs but you are warned by the manufacuturer not to. You can melt your entire wiring harness for the lights or possibly more. You decide.

Also agree with the suggestion made by MotorCity...those new Sylvania's are blue in tint and are very brilliant and clean...worth the money I think.

That's what I got. It has a tiny bit of blue tint. It's mostly white.

I am currently using those "cool blue" lights from sylvania. I noticed a very small blue tint but other than that just much truer, brighter white. I good purchase i think.
