Also happy with my 98 Mystique, but had (I Hope) most of my issues up front. Only have 18,000 miles as the car sat on the lot from MAR 97 to AUG 2000 when I bought it - so I am the reverse of some of you.
Runs well after major auto trans work and as all of you know catching up on all the recalls. Have the 2.0 ZETEC.
I too like the stuff that came on the Mystique as standard - what you all have mentioned. Just hoping that the trans holds up. Everyone is not as hopeful on other posts.
Great in town car for D.C. and performs as advertised. What I guess I like best is the car runs right down the middle of road - doesn't wander or drift. Have the little tires and one day may go to the larger 195/65's.
