HEEELLLLLOOOOOO KIDDIES! IMMMM BAAAAAAAACCCCK!

Ok to review. This is gonna be huge! For those people who are worried about this not being a Contour thang, let's remember one minor little small simple detail of MAJOR consequence.

IT IS A CONTOUR GROUP HOSTING THE MEET. Make no mistake guys, Contiques will represent there. THE ONLY reason that I welcome the other cars is to allow other cars to see what domestics have to offer and hey, let those imports that may or may not show, ask questions, show their mods, offer advice...and hey, everyone has a story to tell about their cars....so this is also gonna be like the "SE Storytellers" convention.

(And oh yeah....ford is talking going deisel for the focus.
Can you believe that???)

So keep your chin up! You have to remember, you guys are the original "Host Company"...if you will. Kinda like the NOPI Nats. All cars represented, one place to hang out!

By the by, NOPI NATS ARE COMING....HCI March ed page 87 has the ad. The date is set for Sept 20 and 21 in Atlanta Motor Speedway.....DUNNNO how they plan to do that...again...If you want to show your car, you NEED to make sure two things.

1. you need to get in now!
2. You need to be there EARLY EARLY EARLY or you may have to force a refund!

And speaking of NOPI, do we know who it was that set up parking spaces for this year??? Supposidly someone did...

May, I am trying to see if we want to go to Decatur and show at Alabama Jubilee. With as many people showing for this little event at my house....little haahaaa...this may be a viable opportunity. We will talk about that and get confirmations and such on the 25th!

A track! We have a track!!! It is an 1/8th of a mile track..and is out in the country area.
Here it is!

The neat thing about this place is that Hot Rod Magazine brought the Power Tour thru here a couple of times. The first one made it to the show on TNN and was HUGE. I was there! The next couple weren't so good....and I am not sure they are coming back.

I hear a lot from the imports that say they go out there. The only thing I am always concerned about is the safety of my friends and sometimes as it gets later the stoopid rednex come out and try stuff...but there is strength in numbers so like I said before, if one of us starts getting sweatted, the rest of us should go calm it down.

Now, if we are gonna do the track as well, we are really gonna need to schedule our time close! If the day is warm, I recommend we hit the track sometime early...ie 5pm...but that also means...it is gonna be hard to get the BBQ on if we all are gonna do the track and then hang out to eat.

Looks like we are getting the Hotel situation under control. When you guys get the arrangements together, let us all know. I will meet you at the hotel and then we all will caravan to the house. The hotel should allow you to put a sign up for two reasons. Numero uno, you tell them it is to give a visual to the other members cars that will be coming to the hotel and it will form an alliance with the chain for us. Remember kids, be nice to them so that they can be the hotel we return to!

University drive is one of the main drags in HSV. Those of you bringing family and kids, you can drive down University and go to the mall or check out Best Buy or Circuit City..lots of restaurants....a shop or two to get wheels or tint....

Anyway...I am really stoked! This is gonna rock!

If you can, bring a grill. One grill for all, just ain't gonna cut it! Remember to bring lawn chairs!

I am off to try to figure out what is happening to Moose...he keeps logging on and off...hope it is not my IM.
