As I have hinted to here recently, I will be leaving Contour.org soon, and for quite some time. No, it's nothing anyone here has done- I have been called to Active Duty. I leave tomorrow morning and have processing through Monday. I have been told by my command not to expect to return home after that. I do not know where we are going, nor for how long or where. I do not know if I will have internet/email access. If I do, I will try to let you all know how I am doing, but obviously communicating with my family will be my first priority (mother, father, 4 kids, wife, grandmother, etc....)
My suspician is we will end up in Kuwait.
For those of you who do not agree with this war, understand that I have no problem with that. You have every right to your opinion, and to express it. I know I have been rather vocal on political issues in here, but that is only because I believe I have something to offer this world and a desire to see it made a better place for everyone. I do believe in the cause for which I am going to fight. I liken the opposition to an evil infestation which rears its ugly head every so often- most recently during the rise of the Nazis.
So, whether we have gotten along or not, and whatever your opinion of me, I wish you well. I wish the CEG well. This is one great community we have here, one I have been proud to be a part of.
