the body kit on the black car is called a combat kit and if its not done right can look really gawdy. a kid who works at the garage my neighbor works at has one on his car and it looks terrible, of course his is a deisel so that makes it even worse. the wewbsite those pics are from is www.btinternet.com/~madmole and is a must see expecially if you have a zetec powered car because the zetecs are more common here in the uk. there are some excellent pointers on the site, if fact, his links are what lead me to the ceg last i checked he wasn't updating the page regularly because of personal reasons but the page is still as he left it. worth a look.

i think the front splitter on the red one was a universal fit item, not specific to mondeo

really? that would be sweet. i don't suppose you have any idea who made it do you? perhaps if it's a universal someone in the states carried the manufacturer? just thinking out loud here..

look down the page....is this a factory equipped short ram intake?

It looks like ford made this.....may have to send an email....HOLY CRAP!!!! This says it is a K&N induction kit!!!! Going to do research....

that's the K&N 57i intake, available only in Europe, IIRC. it is the same thing as the KKM, but without the inverted cone element. the intake tubing for a Euro Zetec is not as convoluted and ours. so that's why it looks cleaner.

as for Madmole's car, i doubt much stock material is left on that beast!

I think I'll trade into a Mondeo...that black one with the kit and skirts was tight! *sigh* Everything gets watered down for the U.S...
