Okay guys (and gals) here's the deal. Please help if you can. My 98 SVT has 60,000k and is having some problems getting into gear. I know my clutch isn't in the greatest shape, but it may not be the case. I have a hard time shifting into almost all of the gears, especially first and reverse although I also feel the grunt on 2nd gear too. I had the tranny rebuilt at 30,000k because of the 1st, 3rd, and 4th gear synchros. My pedal does have a 1/2" to 1" of play before you feel it engage and the pedal isn't extremely stiff when engaged. The problem has gotten worse over the last few months, and now it hs gotten so bad to when I take off from a stop, I have to hold the stick in first, for sometimes it likes to pop out of gear. I just don't want to replace everything in the car just to solve one problem (you can understand that!) Any help is appreciated...
Mushu's pretty cool too!

Rebuilt. My local SVT dealer, which just happens to be 3 blocks away from my house, rebuiltit. You can see around the case a sort of gunk, similar to silicone, just sealing it back up. This problem just seems odd, and it not being the clutch. It doesn't grind or anything like that. Do I have any sort of recourse with Ford, considering it was worked on under factory warranty? I figured that you may know a bit about this situation, from what you have been through. Any help is great! BTW congrats on the IS3. Nice.
