I have/had the same problem on my 96. Dealer also replaced my side gasket under warranty (35,000 miles) but after I realized it was the other gasket as well the warranty was up and dealer refused to honor the warranty after that.

First, if only seepage I would not worry about it. Mine seeped for years ( a drop or two on housing but never saw any on the ground) and never really needed any topping off at the dipstick. Check to see dealer did not overfill yours, check when hot and engine running after 10 miles of driving. Dealer overfilled mine as well,.

I finally seemed to have found a cure though, assure that the bolts are tight and then clean the area along the entire lenght of the housing. I then purchased a gasket sealer tube/paste and placed on the entire length of the housing where the two halves meet. It has worked so far, been a few months. If leak not serious worth a shot as it costs less then $5.
