Well, that might rule out the Blueprint line-up. I don't think the BPD1201 doesn't have enough geddy-up for the type of output you're after. The BPD1202 would have to be wired in series for a 4ohm load (only 400w) but could still possibly be enough. The BP1203 appears to deep for a 7" mounting depth you're describing and would only get 400w.
I wonder if a Dayton DSQ might be an option...
