My mistake, I wasn't thinking. The subs are mounted about 3" in on each side of the box. If I were to use a new front baffle I could use 2 12" PRs.
My only experience with PRs is a old pair of Polk s10 speakers I still use. With a 7" active woofer and a 10" PR they produce impressive deep bass.
Anyway, this idea sounds very interesting so far.
