Well I took the 'Stique into the electric shop this morning and they cocnluded that it was the multi-function switch that needed replaced at a cost of $249 CDN! (they only charged me $20CDN for the diagnosis-cheap) and the nearest one was in Edmonton, Alberta!! The tech did mention to me that the problem in the switch is the hazard lamp switch which was some how sending a current through the relay-hence the clicking. He said after pressing the hazard switch on and off a few times the clicking went away.....but it came back again. I took the switch off of the vehicle and disassembled it, cleaned up the terminals and put it all back together again.
Verdict is a bit better, only get occasional click once in a while
So I will need a new switch eventually, local Lordco can bring one in in 4-6 weeks for $100 (Delco part), but I can now stay relatively sain AND use my turn signals until I get my new switch
