What is a good tire size to put on, and also rim size, I want the biggest rims, I can get, I also wanna try to have wide tires. I used to have them on my saturn, and they looked fat, lowered with Eibach and some struts, uhh gabriel? something like that. I had Enki rims, it look so tight. I think I might scan a pic and post it. (the pic is when it got smashed up bad) Well anyone have any ideas?

you could probably fit 18s and 19s but u'd have to do some things to stop it from rubbing

215/45/17's Thats what i am gonna do as soon as i get the cash. They are pretty close to the stock size of a tire..of course a little wider but should work ok from what i hear. I want some Kumho's. If you go to www.groupbuycenter.com and start an account. you can get some cheep stuff on there. Last week they had a group buy on Enkei rs5's $450 dollars for rims and tires shipped!!!! I missed the buy by one day.

damn, thats awsome, does it cost anything for the account. I think I might put 18s on, i found a bunch of rims i like that are 18s. Not to hard to get spacers is it?

what width can i fit, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5? what would be the best width, I want my tires to stick out maybe an inch max. but still have good sharp turning with no rubbing.

The account is free....and well, to be honest i am not the best person to be asking about tires....but i do know that if you are getting 17's 215/40 or 45's are the best width for a tour. Some people prefer different though...its just up to you. Ask around and see what results you can get. I wouldn't go over 7 1/2 on width.....thats just me though. 7 is perfect for my needs.

i used to have 8.5 on my saturn and it looked dope, I will scan a picture tonight, and you can see it.

Kumho's are the suckiest tires out there, I had them and burned through them in 15k miles. They also suck for handling and overall performance especially bad weather!

In my experience michelin and falken are great. There are many others but Kumho is not the way to go.

i have toyo tires on right now, they seem to be great, very little sliding when going fast through corners. seems to hold the ground nice, there is a corner on a road that is 50 mph, and most of the time i take it at 60, even though it says 30, i won't say other speeds dont want to get it locked lol

$560.00 for all four RS5's in 18's doesn't seem like that bad of a deal. I think the cheapest I found them for was $150.00 apiece. Thanks for the link.
