I noticed the other day that my friends SVT had a lined under his hood and i DONT ........can i buy one anywhere ?

Well, it seems most SVT CEGers have removed them. Seems it would just keep the heat under the hood.

Why do you want one other than looks?

IMO, there is no reason to have one.

yeah, i got rid of mine too. it was getting all brown fromt he dirt, plus it looks so much better with it off.

I have no opinion on this, but wasnt this a heated discussion before? I thought the result was everybody agreeing that the insulation was there for a reason. I thought somebody was having paint problems with their hood because they took it off.

that's what i was thinking, plus in the winter wouldn't it help keep the engine warm?

Some CEGers never even had a hoodliner and their hood is fine.

Mine's been off for about a year and half with no problems.
