I used a ton of grease on my wires, so I've never had a problem, but I believe Summit sells a device for removing spark plug wires.....It looks like a ball-joint separator with curved forks instead....

Well, I got my back bank plugs changed at the cost of one Magnecor wire. I had to resort to yanking the ever-living crap out of the wire...

I got 'em all changed and started it up. Studder at low RPMs. I knew the cause

I wound up putting the stock plug wire back on cylinder #1.

I don't have any grease, but I will purchase some tomorrow. I guess I'll be getting some new wires, too. I can't imagine the engine liking 5 Magnecors and 1 Ford wire. Anyway, there's no way in hell I want to go through that ever again...I'm greasing those puppies up! My forearms are sore from pulling on the damn boots, and my fingers are scraped to all hell from the various rough metal parts.

Couple notes on my plugs:
1) The front bank's plugs were a little more worn than the back bank's.
2) The back bank's plugs had a hint of gasoline smell to them, and they were a little "sooty."

Anything to be concerned with? (It doesn't sound like it according to my Haynes manual.)
