I got some oil today (Valvoline Durablend 5w-30)and a fram filter. I took my adjustible wrench and measured the size - looked like 7/16's, but that wouldn't fit, so I went to the next size up - 5/8's and that was way too loose. So (frustraded) I took the adjustable wrench to it, it wouldn't budge. I was afraid that if I tried too hard that I'd strip it, so I stopped. Ford is the one that put the bolt on last time, I thought that your only suppose to have 25# of tourque on it or so, this is on there REALLY tight. Oh yeah and you gotta love that header right behind the oil drain bolt, so I couldn't get a socket in there. I need HELP!!
One more thing, I didn't use a lift or a jack, I just crawled under the car and tried to get it (getting under that SVT bumper is HARD), but can't budge it, do I need it on a jack for more leverage??
