I called Bill. The only 4 cylinder wires he has are for the Escort and Focus 2.0l Zetec. Does anyone if it'll fit? I'm guessing no...

Dream on.

From what I've read, you may get a couple hp over OEM, but the biggest improvement will be the fact that you have new wires vs old, so better ignition, fewer misfires, etc.

Okay guys, settle down here...

First, the 9mm wires are better performing than Stock only because
they can deliver a hotter spark than the OEM wires.

Second, the 9mm FORD MotorSport wires are slightly longer than the original wires.
I'm only talking a few inches longer, not a foot or more...

Third, you WILL need to Dremel out our stock wire retainers (Looms)
because they were made to fit the 8MM OEM wires exactly.
You don't need to remove much material.
I did my retainers with a stone that was exactly 9mm in
diameter that came with my Craftsman Dremel kit.
They wires fit perfectly with just a little slack on both the Coil and Spark plug ends.

After the installation of these wires, your engine may idle a little more smoothly
and you will feel a sense of more pickup since the plugs are firing a little hotter.
I doubt you are getting more Horsepower.

I installed my wires with a set of Bosch Platinum +4s,
and they have been running great for over 30,000 miles now...
Not everyone gets the same results as I do with these plugs, but I wish that they did.
They work great for me.

Just ordered a set.
I just couldn't justify buying another set of Magnecores. (I jacked a wire the other weekend...)
Thanks for the info, ibub!

Not our cars, I know, but GRM did test several "stock legal mods" (Solo II) a while back, but I think it was on a Saturn. Anyway, stock plugs beat all others, and wires made a difference of about 1-2 hp with the magnecores.

Our cars could be different, and the FR wires aren't the same as magnecore, so could be a bit more or a bit less. My point is, some gain is possible, but probably not measurable except on the dyno or on the track.
