I plan on running 450-600 watts to 2 4-ohm SVC subs wired for 2 ohm. My question is: how do I figure RMS to each sub? I want to buy subs that can handle the load but don't know if I should be shopping for ones that handle 300 watts max or 600 watts max. FWIW, I'm leaning toward the Lambda LE12. Thanks.

If you plan to have an amp that puts out 450-600w into 2-ohm mono load, then each 4-ohm driver will get half. A driver rated at 300w rms is a good match.
