You are rigth, not every sub will perform in all kinds of enclosure. I just wanted to provide some other facts to be consider when choosing a sub.

I agree on this:

But what I meant is: makes no sense run i.e. a 1000 watt sub with a 20 watt amp. or vice versa

Actually, the Mobile LF would require a larger box than the PB.

I follow what you are trying to say. I thought you were making a comparison of sub diameter to power.
