You might also want to take a look at the Blueprint BP1202. A pair of those run by a JBL BP1200.1 should sound great in both SQ and SPL.

I've had a couple 'Bahn subs, some 8s and some AW1000X 10s. I'd say they're average subs with above average looks at a reasonable price. This seems to be the prevailing impression of most of their line-up.



BTW, I'm running a single Lambda LE12 - great sub. The 2ft^3 box I built for it could actually fit a pair of LE12s and takes up only a little trunk space.
