I have been a proud mustang owner for three years now and i recently picked up a 97 contour with 80k for 1500.. hell of deal.. its in real nice shape.. i was wondering if the SVT ground effects will fit on the 97 model? If any one knows respond and let me... Good luck with everone and there cars.. as soon as the mustang is finished you can bet the contour will get some serious mods also.. later everyone 97 contour-Stock.. for sale $1500 90 Mustang.. 331 Ported heads,ported intake, custom cam,TKO trans 423rwhp @ 6500RPM..all motor..Sold my mustang =(... 95 Duratec.. stock for now...

MotorCity Hard-core CEG'er M Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 3,632 USA	Welcome to the CEG! Assuming you have a 1998 + Contour, all of the SVT body kit will fit. If it is from before 1998 model, the front bumper will not be a direct bolt-on. Your in trouble now that you have found this site. "Cobb - It's not just for corn anymore!"

IonNinja Hard-core CEG'er I Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 8,143 AZ	sideskirts and rear will fit but the front end of the 98+ is different than pre98s so you're gonna have to do a lotta modification if you want it to fit simple way to tell the different between 98+ and pre98s is look at the headlights there is a group buy going on right now for a pre98 body kit...it is possible that you could buy the front bumper from that and sell the side skirts and back to someone else...or just buy that kit for about $650 + shipping IonNinja 2005 Saturn ION-2 Sedan 1996 Ford Contour GL - Collecting dust...Zetec project anyone?
