Stupid...and pilots don't measure airspeed in miles per hour...

That's not true. It depends on whether your airspeed indicator reads knots IAS or MPH IAS. There are plenty of older model GA planes that have airspeed indicators that read in miles per hour.

Agreed, also, when pilots give that inflight information speech, they 'dumb' it down from kts to mph so that the passangers have a clue as to what he is saying... BTW, thats a pretty funny flash animation! -Nick
