I'm not exactly sure I followed. There is very little music recorded in any surround format. To use it requires special processors. If you don't have those processors, the speakers in back will not give you the surround sound effect. Besides, the point of surroud sound is not to put you in the middle of the band on stage. It's to try to recreate the reflections of sound and increase the ambience of the recording.
