Couple quick ones... What is everyone using for their rear speakers? I don't want to put them in the rear doors, so I was also wondering what everyone has set up? I am thinking right now, Infinity 6x9s. Any other ideas? Thanks

I'm using mb quart 5 1/4 components, but they're mounted in the rear doors.

Nothing other than the sub in the trunk. I'd only consider using full-range speakers in back if I didn't have a dedicated sub or felt a need to entertain rear seat passengers.

Why do you want to run rear speakers? Are you currently running a sub?
I agree with cthomp21. I would only have rear speakers for rear seat passengers.

I have no speakers in the rear of the car (except 2 12" subs that are never on except to do spl at a comp). All my speakers, including SQ subs, are in the front of the car.

I am running a pair of alpines 6x8s in my back doors, they both have tweeters, and then I am looking into install some in the back window (ones you can't see, that are installed from the trunk) Also a set of small speakers from a taurus (if they fit) in the front where piece that cover the mirror screws.

Thats kinda what I was looking to do...install a couple 6x9s in the rear window, recessed into the trunk. I didn't know that many people didn't even have rear speakers. Doesn't it sound a ton better with speakers in the rear?

very true, If you are looking to make your car have great audio, it works great. I am buying another amp next month to install and then run all my speaker wires to it, (2x 2 1/2 inch spears in mirror cover, 2 speakers with 2 tweeters in front doors, and 2 speakers with tweeters in the back doors, and soon some 6x9s in the back along with my current 2 12s, and maybe 2 16s. lol This is my wish! (I have the door speakers and the 2 12s only so far. (with tweeters)
