As a veteran, I too think I have earned the right to act like an a$$.
I am one of the ones who continually begins every post with: "Yes I have searched!".
This choice group of "veterans", is acting like a high school teacher scolding a curious student and saying: "Look it up in your textbook!". What interesting new problems are these guys expecting to happen to contours 7 years later. I say if they're bored of the same old questions, stay clear away from the CEG, because these cars are going to continue to have the same old problems.

Before you make any bigger an ass of yourself, re-read my post and please (using the quote button) highlight the section when I was talking about me.
Semantics, no. Failure to perform basic reading comprehension, yes.

I agree, but this has been discussed before (and it got nasty). FWIW, these topics are usually locked, so you may as well get your two cents in beforehand.

perhaps some of this stress could be alleviated by revamping the search engine? If suggestions for this are needed by the board admins just ask us members..... I'm sure we'd be glad to make a list! Or perhaps if there's is another roadblock to getting a better search engine...??

I thought you said post count, you said member number, the effect is the same: In YOUR opinion, YOU think certain people have earned the "right" not to "have to see those questions". Perhaps you have a memory problem? If I somehow comprehended it wrong or even took it out of context then perhaps you can clear it up for me and maybe question your sentence construction skills in light of how crystal clear it appears in your own hand. In the meantime that remains one of the most arrogant things I've ever read here. The right not to have to see those questions, as if they're pictures of aborted fetuses or something. Your posted opinion is just a classic case of the **** that makes new people fearful to post. BTW as I stated another way, people DO have the right not to have to see those questions, and that is the right to not have to visit websites that are too painful to watch. Nobody's forcing you or anyone else who's so offended at a repetitive question to look at them.

I like porn involving midgets and elephants... that is all, now close this topic or I will write more stuff! I have four digit posts so I think I should not have to read a stupid argument, furthermore, I believe that since I am the king of the CEG, I should get free porn of my choosing... The End.

Hey guys, I've got an idea...let's just use "Search" for everything like it's a big f%$#ing library of information, cause I'm sure most everything has been brought up at one time or another. Wouldn't that make the forums fun??? Oh wait, forums are for talking with others, so that doesn't make sense.
How about this, if you see the topic, "How do I fix Throttle Hang?" or "What are the 1/4 mile times of a CSVT?" and it annoys you because it's been brought up before....go read another post. Leave that one for the people who are polite enough to help others and take your wise a$$ "why don't you try the SEARCH feature" b.s. somewhere else.

My reasoning is that if you have seen the topic a million times before and you are not going to post with valid advice, then don't post. I don't see why all the people who ***** about covered topics waste their time flaming newbies. When in the same time you spent flaming them you could have answered their question. And not only would the question have been answered but the rest of us can be spared the elitism.

Yeah, no one is forcing you to read or post on topics, so if you don't wanna answer a question that's been asked before.....don't! It's not that hard.
