That is true. He was with Nicky for a looong time, so they needed a change.

Skoda has had a hard time since they entered- VAG wants them to race the octavia- buit its too heavy of a car to be truly competative, but having said that they are the subject of every possible thing that could go wrong. In one race last year or the year before in Argentina a Fire truck rolled over on their cars and crushed them- also injured the team boss! so yes they are getting better- but still far form the top.
Watch out for these guys. They're getting rid of the Octavia, and will race the Fabia (about half the size of the Octavia) starting later this year. I drove the car while in Europe, and it's a very solid car in the small car market, with probably the best chassis and suspension. That alone will help tremendously. Chassis wise, it's worlds away from the Octavia. Good stuff. I'm hoping they'll be competitive, I'm a Skoda fan. (patriotism at its best)

Colin is one of the best drivers in WRC that is true- but his strained relationship of late with nicky has shown and he has been slipping down in the points.
Like I said above, everybody needs a change once in a while. Guys have good seasons and bad seasons. I don't think he is slipping. Hell, he was 4th in points, only 1 point behind Sainz, who finished 2nd. If Colin didn't roll the car in Cyprus on the last stage he'd easily be 2nd. Gronholm just dominated, he's an amazing driver, even though I'm not a big fan.

and MS has WAY too big of an ego to race for a less competative team- Citroen is a VERY competative team - especially considering that they are the second team feilded by the Peugot/Citroen group. They usualy either win or take second in all tarmac rallies- and finish up there in on dirt!
If you're talking about McRae.... I don't think he has a ego, he's just the most competitive driver in the WRC. No one gets pissed off more than him when [censored] doesn't go right. I see motivation, not ego.
Who wouldn't want to go to a competitive team?
BTW, Peugeot/Citroen, I'm not really sure they've got anything in common other than them being French. And remember, this is the first season they're doing all 12 rallies, they're rookies.
I'm a big McRae fan, and one of the characteristics of him I *love* is that he has the balls to either go big, or go home. If he's 5 sec behind, he'll do everything it takes to catch up.
