Hey Guys,

Tonight when i came from the car wash, i noticed a "bumpy" sound from the front wheels, when i gain speed its even louder..........what could it be?

an dit only does it in a straight line.....it doesn't do it when i turn

maybe one of the belts in the tire went, meaning time to replace it... or maybe even a nail or screw or something in your tire... take the tires off and take a look at them...Hope this helps...

Did you look under the car?

Do you feel it in the steering?

Ok, i went out to drive it on a highway, and the noise is actually coming from the rear, i can feel it "hopping" even if im going slow, in the rear, as i gain speed its really loud, i can feel vibration in the car when it "humps".......so i dont know maybe i need to get an aligment.....what do you guys think

The wash may of bent a control arm in the back..

A bolt in the tire can cause thumping


Get under and look! Best way to prevent yourself being ripped off from a repair place.

i had a bumping tire once...could hear the tire making noise but tried to think it was all in my head....til the tire blew out on the freeway in the fast lane....boom, smoke, engine light(??) and i see something black shoot out from behind the car....i thought the engine had gone but as i started pulling over to the right i could feel the tire....when i got out there was nothing left but the rubber directly around the rim

nothing like changing a tire on a freeway on a hot ass summer day scared for your life :rolleyes:
