A little bit of good news reguarding the warranty. I recently had my MTX-75 replaced at my Ford dealer and as of 0ct '02 the warranty is now 3 years/36000 miles. The reason I went ford was that they were the only place that I could find that'd warranty the tranny for more than 6 months as well as being the only place that'd warranty both labor and tranny of the same period of time. Call me crazy but I wasn't willing to go the cheap route, have my tranny go out 6 months down the road and be SOL. FYI, mine cost $2755 all said, but in my experience manual tranny's are generally a fair amount less expensive than autos. I may be mistaken in this case though.
