How do you plan on making the multiple bends from the front header around the oil pan and back?
Also you would need to weld spherical flanges onto both downpipes in order to hook them to the headers.
This is why I asked if you were cutting up the stock or an aftermarket Y-pipe.
You put the flex joints after the down pipes. Make sure not to use the smallest size or CHEAP ones! They will tear apart.
