It is my understanding that a couple inexpensive Ford parts will likely break when installing the B&M shifter. Does anybody know the part numbers, so I can have them in hand when I install my shifter?

Thanks,
Mike

Really there is only one...it is a plastic retaining clip that damn near breaks just by looking at it. You might not actually have to buy a new one though. If you bought your shifter new, they now include that clip with the shifter kit...so take a look through the box first and see if it's in there. If you read the instructions that are in the box, you'll see very quickly if it is included in your kit or not.

Ryan,
Thanks. I bought the shifter new, but that was some time ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the clip. You wouldn't happen to know the part number by any chance?

Mike
